ThankTap pricing
ThankTap has one fee, and the guest pays it. ThankTap earns a 20% service fee added on top of each tip and always shown before the guest confirms. There are no monthly software fees and no charges to hotels or staff, ever.
Who pays what
- Guests: the tip, plus a 20% ThankTap service fee, drawn from a refundable prepaid balance. Nothing is hidden.
- Staff: $0. Free NFC tag, free replacements, free payouts, and 100% of every tip.
- Hotels: $0. Dashboard, roster, pooling and reconciliation are included with no subscription and no setup fee.
Pilot pricing
Design-partner pilots are free for the property. ThankTap supplies the badges, the staff app and the hotel dashboard for the 60 to 90 day pilot period.

How much does ThankTap cost a hotel?
Nothing. ThankTap charges hotels no subscription, no setup fee and no hardware fee.
How much does ThankTap cost staff?
Nothing. Staff keep 100% of every displayed tip, and NFC tags, replacements and payouts are free.
What does the guest pay?
The guest pays the tip plus a 20% ThankTap service fee on top, shown before confirming and itemized afterwards. A $20 tip draws $24 from the guest's balance: $20 to the staff member and $4 to ThankTap.
Are ThankTap balances refundable?
Yes. Guest balances never expire and are refundable in full at any time. They are held in custodial accounts and are never spent by ThankTap.
